Laura Zimmerman

Laura is a second-year PhD student in the Social Welfare program. Laura earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Philosophy as well as a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Laura is currently working as a project assistant to Dr. Lara Gerassi on a research project about sex trading among college students. Laura’s research interests are in mental illness and health, stigma, and sexual violence prevention.
